How have you been??

In this edition (magazine??), I would like to share my experience in English Debate Competition – FLAT 10^th Anniversary, which had been followed by me and my friends at May 10^th 2011. 

Yanti (1^st speaker), me (3^rd speaker), Dian (2^nd speaker)

At that time, there were so many participants came from different campus because that was a JABODETABEK level, such as UNJ, IIQ, UNPAM, Al-Azhar University, STIE Tazkiya Serpong, STPN, and absolutely UIN Jakarta.

At the first time, we had to follow qualification session. My team – UIN Jakarta 2 had to face our friend from another faculty (UIN Jakarta ). Alhmdulillah, we could pass the qualification and could reach quarter final.

In the quarter final (May 12^th, 2011), my team met STIE Tazkia Serpong. Alhamdulillah again, we could reach semi final. =)

Semi final was also directly held at that day. Unfortunately, we had to meet the greatest team (in my team’s opinion) from Jakarta State University (UNJ 2). God.. give us Your miracle.. =/

Yaa.. You know the result, we failed reach final. =(

They were a good debater.. aaa.. really love their way deliver their statement and explanation :D

Although my team were not debating in final but we had to grab the third position. So, we had to perform again for the third time to get the third position. We met team UIN Jakarta 1 and Alhamdulillah, we could win and get the third position. Thank God =D

Oh yea, this was the judges for the debating competition. Actually one of the jury always changed in every session.

So, finally… in the final session, UNJ team 2 had to face UIN team 5. And the result was….

UIN 5 went to be a winner and the second position was got by UNJ 2.. yeeeeyyyy

Hmmm.. that was my experience in following debate competition. I hope next time I can follow the same event and can be better than this. Aamiin =D
